Terms of service

The terms that apply to your use of ClearWeek.

Last updated: 2026-06-25

What ClearWeek is

ClearWeek is a personal budgeting tool. It helps you plan and track your weekly spending based on figures you enter yourself. ClearWeek is not a financial service and is not regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. It does not give financial advice.

Who can use it

ClearWeek is a general utility app. Anyone may download and use it.

Free and premium tiers

ClearWeek is available as a free app with core budgeting features. A premium tier with additional features is available as an optional purchase. Premium features and their prices are shown in the app at the point of purchase. Purchases are processed by Google Play.

Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time through the Google Play subscription management screen. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access to premium features until then. Refund eligibility is governed by Google Play’s refund policy. The developer does not process or issue refunds directly.

No guarantee of accuracy

The figures shown in ClearWeek depend entirely on what you enter. The app does not verify or cross-check your data against any external source. Do not rely solely on figures in the app for important financial decisions.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer is not responsible for losses arising from your use of ClearWeek or decisions made using app figures. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it cannot legally be excluded, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits your statutory rights as a consumer.

Your responsibilities

By using ClearWeek, you agree to:

Intellectual property

ClearWeek, including its design, code, and content, is owned by the developer. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute any part of the app without permission.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer living in another part of the UK, you may also have rights to bring claims in your local UK courts.

Data handling

How we handle personal data is explained in the privacy policy. For data deletion steps, see the data and deletion page.

Updates to these terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised terms.
